What To Expect...
Counselling involves you and I working together to address the issues causing you distress, where they may come from and how best to move forward.
Counselling can help you understand what is really going on, work through your emotions, begin healing and live more happily.
So what's next?
First is the initial FREE session.
This is held on the phone and lasts around 20-30 minutes
If, by the end of this session, we decide we can work together we will discuss the practical aspects of our Counselling Contract.

embrace who you are.”

Testimonials
"It was at my lowest point that I contacted Josephine,
and that contact has been genuinely life changing.
Josephine has supported me through an immensely rough time and has given me the tools to deal with the ups and downs that life may throw at me in the future.
I am now in a place where I feel free from the anxiety
that I was overcome with in the past.
Thank you so much"

About Me
Before training as a counsellor I enjoyed a long and successful career as a teacher, school leader and Head.
My emphasis has always been on creating relationships that enable people to grow, develop and thrive.
Now, as a therapist I create nurturing relationships with people who find they are stuck, unable to thrive, suffering.
I provide a safe space both physically and emotionally, where I meet clients to listen and hear their story, their experience, without judgement.
When I'm not working I enjoy painting, music, writing and spending time with my family.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am,
then I can change."
