Finding Your Courage To Be
"Genuinely life changing"
Client, Harrogate
Welcome

When life feels more difficult than usual, it can be hard to know where to turn for support.

Therapy can help you find the strategies and courage it takes to deal with life's difficulties, and live more fully and confidently.

I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings which will help you understand your internal struggles, the world outside and ultimately help you feel better.

If you prefer a more goal oriented approach, that is less emotion focussed I also offer Coaching.

Counselling and Coaching can support you through your difficult times and help you find your courage.

I am a registered Therapist, based in Harrogate, and I am here to help

What To Expect...

Counselling involves you and I working together to address the issues causing you distress, where they may come from and how best to move forward.

Counselling can help you understand what is really going on, work through your emotions, begin healing and live more happily.

So what's next?

First is the initial FREE session.

We will explore what's brought you to counselling, what changes you would like to make and how often you would like to meet.

Usually sessions are weekly but sometimes people benefit from more than one a week and occasionally people prefer fortnightly.

It is up to you and we can discuss it together.

If, by the end of the first session, we decide we can work together we will discuss the practical aspects of our Counselling Contract.

Testimonials

"It was at my lowest point that I contacted Josephine,
and that contact has been genuinely life changing.

Josephine has supported me through an immensely rough time and has given me the tools to deal with the ups and downs that life may throw at me in the future.

I am now in a place where I feel free from the anxiety
that I was overcome with in the past.
Thank you so much"

About Me

I haven't always been a counsellor. I have enjoyed a long and successful career in education; first as a teacher, then in leadership roles and headship.

My emphasis was always on creating relationships that enable people to grow, develop and thrive.

Now, as a Therapeutic Counsellor & Coach I create nurturing relationships with people who find they are stuck, unable to thrive, suffering.

I provide a safe space both physically and emotionally, where I meet clients to listen and hear their story, their experience, without judgement.

By exploring this experience together, meaning can be found and healing begin.

I work with young people aged16+ and adults.
